Leesburg African American Museum, located in Leesburg, FL, promotes research and public education through its Museum collection. Visitors to the Museum can see Museum exhibits, attend events at the Museum, and access Museum educational programs. The Museum supports itself through ticket sales, membership, fundraisers, and donations.

A project of the Community Development Corporation of Leesburg & Vicinity also house the Margaret Cason Ward Youth Opportunity Center. Located in a beautifully renovated historical facility at 220 Mike Street, Leesburg, FL 34748 at Pine Street.
